Subscribe a company once with POST /monitor and get a signed webhook when its status changes, it is dissolved, a sanctions match appears (beta) or its register record changes. It works in every live country except France. It is the step after KYB onboarding: the file stays checked without a nightly job of your own.
A monitored company is checked against the register data we serve and against the sanctions lists. An alert is created when one of these happens:
status is the standard value, local_status the register's own word).detail.date_basis set to first_seen_closed. When the register's own date is used, date_basis is register.Find the company, subscribe it with a webhook URL, read the monitor and, when you no longer need it, delete it. The subscription answer carries a webhook_secret that is shown once: keep it, because alerts are posted to your URL signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Prometiam-Signature header.

AUTH="Authorization: Bearer $PROMETIAM_API_KEY"
# 1. Find the company and take its id
curl "$API/companies/search?country=GB&company_number=00519500&limit=1" -H "$AUTH"
# 2. Subscribe it (the webhook_secret in the answer is shown once)
curl -X POST "$API/monitor" -H "$AUTH" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"company_id": 2000004984365, "country": "GB", "label": "acme-vendor",
"webhook_url": "https://yourapp.com/hooks/prometiam"}'
# 3. List what you monitor, or read one monitor with its alert history
curl "$API/monitor" -H "$AUTH"
curl "$API/monitor/42" -H "$AUTH"
# 4. Stop monitoring
curl -X DELETE "$API/monitor/42" -H "$AUTH"
Results sit under data, as everywhere in the API. Managing monitors costs no credits: subscribing, listing, reading and deleting a monitor are free, so a large portfolio costs nothing to maintain beyond the plan's limit on monitored companies.
| Countries | What fires an alert |
|---|---|
| Spain | Status change, dissolution, sanctions match and the full corporate-event stream from the BORME gazette |
| United Kingdom | Status change, dissolution, sanctions match, and corporate events (Companies House filings and Gazette notices) |
| Ireland, Poland, Norway | Status change, dissolution, sanctions match and register-change events, none before 14 October 2026 (no gazette feed) |
| Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Latvia, Cyprus, Romania, United States, Lithuania, Canada, Australia, Japan, Israel, Singapore, Colombia, Taiwan, Brazil, Czech Republic, Germany | Status change, dissolution, sanctions match and register-change events: name, status, legal form and registered address, plus share capital for Croatia, Estonia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Latvia, Lithuania, Taiwan, Brazil and Czech Republic |
France is not covered by monitoring. Register-change events are dated when the change first appears in the register data, not when the register says it happened; for the United States that is the weekly read. Events start at the first load of each country, none before 30 September 2026 for the first group of countries and October 2026 for the rest. Romania is read monthly. Germany means LEI-registered entities only (GLEIF), not the German commercial register, and Germany's insolvency notices are a separate feature, not linked to these records.
| Plan | Monitored companies | Delivery |
|---|---|---|
| Starter, EUR 9.99/month | 25 | Alerts read from GET /monitor and GET /monitor/{id} |
| Professional, EUR 29.99/month | 250 | Signed webhooks, with full sanctions screening (beta) |
| Scale, EUR 99.99/month | 2,500 | Signed webhooks |
| Enterprise | Custom | On request |
A call that goes over your limit is answered with a 422 limit_exceeded naming the cap, so a loop that adds companies stops cleanly. If you only need to watch a few thousand names for corporate events by date, the pull alternative is GET /company-events/search, described in counterparty monitoring.
Onboarding checks are a snapshot. Ongoing due diligence is the same questions asked again whenever something changes, and the usual way to get that is a monitored list. The pattern is: run the KYB check at onboarding, subscribe the company, and treat every alert as a reason to re-open the file: a status change to liquidation, a dissolution, a new sanctions hit or a changed registered address. Ongoing due diligence shows the loop, and customer insolvency monitoring adds the insolvency notices from the insolvency API. Financial statements for the monitored company are a separate call on the Scale plan.
The API supplies the evidence and the alert; the decision stays with your compliance process. It does not verify people (no KYC, no liveness, no adverse-media screening).
