Customer insolvency monitoring — know before you ship

For credit control and finance teams: watch your customer book for insolvency filings, dissolutions and status changes across Europe through one REST API, instead of finding out from a returned invoice.

Where the insolvency notices come from

Over 1,000,000 corporate notices across nine countries and growing daily, of which more than 340,000 are distress events (insolvency, liquidation, administration, winding-up, forced sale, restructuring) and the rest are dissolutions — a company closing, often solvently. The mix differs sharply by country and the table below gives both columns, because acting on a solvent dissolution as if it were an insolvency is a false positive against a real customer. Germany, Austria and the US are distress-only; France and Finland are majority dissolution. Filter with ?event_type=insolvency to get distress events alone. Corporate only — personal and consumer filings are deliberately excluded and are never returned. Spain is covered separately with 44,374 concursal proceedings from BORME. It reaches past the registry footprint

Registry data covers Spain, France, the UK, Ireland, Poland and Norway — but the insolvency feed also covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Finland. If you sell into the DACH region or Finland, you can monitor customers there for insolvency even though full company data for those countries is not part of the API.

Two ways to use it

• Pull: GET /insolvency/search?country=DE reaches Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway and Finland; GET /search returns Spanish concursal filings; GET /company-events/search?company_name=&country=FR returns registry-linked French judgments. Re-check your customer list on a schedule.
• Push: POST /monitor subscribes a company and posts corporate events, status changes, dissolutions and sanctions matches to your webhook. Monitoring currently supports Spain, Ireland and Poland, and is capped at 3, 50, 500 or 5,000 watched companies depending on plan.
