Israeli company number lookup

Type an Israeli company number or a company name, in Hebrew or in English, and get the company from the Corporations Authority: name, legal form, status, registered address and district, live. The number is verified in your browser first and its advisory check is shown as a hint.

What a company number is

Every Israeli company has a company number (ח.פ.) of 9 digits starting 51, 52 or 56, for example 520013954 for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries. The last digit is an advisory check digit.

What the lookup returns

Company records from the Israeli Corporations Authority (Ministry of Justice): the company name in Hebrew and, where the register holds one, in English, legal form, status (including liquidation, receivership, restructuring and insolvency proceedings), registered address with the district, whether liability is limited, the government-company and public-benefit flags, and dates; updated daily. Israeli and registered foreign companies only. Partnerships, cooperative societies, non-profit associations and sole traders are other registers and are never served. No officers, no registry-compliance signal, no VAT number, no activity code, no share capital and no insolvency notices. Register-change events (name, status, legal form and registered address changes, dated when the change first appears in the register data, none before the first load in October 2026) and company monitoring are available.

FAQ

The company name is in Hebrew, with the English name in the record where the register holds one. Partnerships, cooperative societies, non-profit associations and sole traders return nothing even though they exist.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the company name in Hebrew?
The register holds the name in Hebrew. Where it also holds an English name, the record carries it in registry_details, and the name search finds a company by either.
Why is my company number flagged?
The check digit is advisory. A number that fails it is shown with a warning and is still looked up, because a registered number does not satisfy the check. A 9-digit number that does not start 51, 52 or 56 is refused.
Why does a valid number return nothing?
Only Israeli and registered foreign companies are served. A partnership, a cooperative society, a non-profit association or a sole trader returns nothing even though it exists. Try the name search.
Can I do this in code?
Yes: GET /companies/search?company_number=520013954&country=IL with an API key returns the same record as JSON.
