When Moneyhouse is the better choice

  • You need information on persons, not only companies. Prometiam serves no officers or persons for Switzerland.
  • You need credit rating queries through an API. Prometiam has no credit data.
  • You want a membership tool for people (following companies and persons, a newsletter) next to the API, with corporate accounts and volume discounts from five accounts.
  • Your whole workload is Swiss and you want to discuss endpoints and volumes with the provider.

When Prometiam is the better fit

  • You need the Swiss register record in the same schema as other countries, so adding a market is a country value, not a second integration.
  • You want to see the price before you talk to anyone: published plans and a 14-day trial.
  • You want insolvency and gazette signals linked by UID (SHAB) and a sanctions screen (beta) in the same API.

What Prometiam covers here, and its limits

Switzerland on Prometiam is company records only: legal entities and branches on the commercial register, never sole proprietorships or other natural persons, with no officers, no registry-compliance signal and no activity code (the register publishes no NOGA code). The UID with its MWST, TVA or IVA suffix is searchable. Insolvency notices (SHAB) are corporate only and linked by UID where the notice names the debtor's UID; commercial-register gazette events run from publications of 1 January 2024. Source: Zefix, Federal Office of Justice, Federal Commercial Registry Office (open use, source required); restructured by Prometiam, not a certified register extract. Contains data from the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC/SHAB), State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), via the Official Gazettes Portal.
