Implisense alternative

Implisense focuses on Germany, Austria and Switzerland and publishes its prices, including a free plan. Prometiam covers many countries in one schema, and its German layer is partial. This is the honest split.

In short

For German company depth, Implisense is the better choice.

For several countries behind one API, or sanctions screening (beta) and insolvency notices next to the register record, Prometiam fits better.

When Implisense is the better choice

  • You need German company depth: Prometiam's German layers are partial and carry no officers or shareholders.
  • Your workload is Germany, Austria and Switzerland only.
  • You want a web app with lists, saved searches and Excel export next to the API, on a monthly plan.
  • You want a free plan without a card; Prometiam's trial needs one.

When Prometiam is the better fit

  • You need several countries behind one API and one response shape.
  • You want sanctions screening (beta), insolvency notices and corporate events next to the register record.
  • You prefer one credit meter across all countries to a per-endpoint cost.

What Prometiam covers here, and its limits

Germany on Prometiam is two partial layers, neither an extract of the German commercial register (Handelsregister): German companies that hold a Legal Entity Identifier, and energy-market actors from the Marktstammdatenregister (Bundesnetzagentur, Datenlizenz Deutschland BY 2.0, data changed by Prometiam, declared by the actors and not checked against the commercial register). Not every German company is included, and no officers or shareholders are served. German insolvency notices are corporate only and served separately, not linked to company records. Contains LEI data from the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), available under CC0 1.0. Not an extract of the German commercial register (Handelsregister).
